How To Get Here
We are situated in the village of Abergwili, just east of Carmarthen. If travelling by car take the A40 Carmarthen Llandeilo road and follow the brown signs for Carmarthenshire County Museum. The postcode for the site is SA31 2JG.
If travelling by bus the 279 and 280 / 281 bus routes between Carmarthen and Llandeilo go via Abergwili.
The Bishop’s Park is a historic park last landscaped in the early nineteenth century. As a result, due to the condition of the pathways not all the site is currently accessible to visitors with restricted mobility, pushchairs or prams. As our restoration project progresses our aim is to create accessible all weather pathways so that all our visitors can enjoy the wonderful grounds throughout the year.
